Role overview
Ryman Healthcare is looking for a Gardener to join the team at Charles Upham Retirement Village in Rangiora, Canterbury. This is a full-time onsite role, scheduled Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
What you will do
- Help maintain the village gardens and landscaped areas so they stay attractive for residents, families, and staff.
- Look after grounds and garden spaces to support both presentation and safety.
- Work across a varied site that includes a bowling green, water features, residential areas, and shared spaces.
- Partner closely with team members and provide day-to-day support where needed.
What we are looking for
- Hands-on experience in gardening or landscaping.
- Good problem-solving ability and strong attention to detail.
- Clear communication skills.
- A dependable, approachable, and professional attitude.
- Horticultural qualifications are an advantage.
Eligibility
