About the Role
The High Flyer Hotel is seeking a Gaming Manager to oversee the gaming room and maintain a warm, approachable environment for regular guests and new visitors alike. The role comes with a base salary of $76,250 plus superannuation, a bonus scheme, and group-wide discounts.
Set in Condell Park across from Bankstown Airport, the venue is a busy, family-oriented local hub with a strong community following. It offers a sports-focused atmosphere with an outdoor 110-inch mega-screen, dedicated TAB facilities, a vibrant pub setting, a high-volume bistro serving classic pub meals, private event spaces, and modern on-site accommodation through Nightcap Hotels.
A Day in the Role
- Build genuine rapport with regular guests and help them feel welcomed and valued.
- Partner with the Publican to ensure the gaming room operates safely, smoothly, and in line with all regulations.
- Use your gaming knowledge to coach and support the team so they can perform at a high standard.
- Deliver upbeat service, positive energy, and a friendly presence throughout every shift.
Inherent Requirements
This position involves practical, hands-on duties that may include manual handling and lifting, such as moving stock, kegs, and deliveries. Candidates must be able to complete physical tasks safely and efficiently.
About You
- You have solid experience in gaming room operations, whether as an attendant, supervisor, or manager.
- You have learned from strong leaders and are ready to take the next step in your career.
- You are confident, professional, and comfortable being the public face of the gaming room.
- You have a thorough understanding of compliance obligations and responsible gaming practices.
- You hold a current RSA, RSG/RCG, and ARCG, as required by state regulations.
