Job description
About the role
The Breakfast Creek Hotel is seeking a gaming specialist to step into a premium Gaming Manager position. This opportunity is available on either a part-time or full-time basis and offers a roster designed to fit around your lifestyle.
This is a visible, floor-based leadership role rather than a back-office position. The hotel is looking for someone who enjoys building authentic relationships with regular guests, takes pride in presenting the gaming room well, and can confidently lead a high-quality gaming operation at one of Australia’s best-known hotels.
The role may suit someone returning to work, balancing other commitments, or looking for a flexible leadership opportunity in a respected venue.
What you’ll do
- Get to know regular guests personally and create a welcoming experience for them each visit.
- Partner with the Publican to ensure the gaming room operates smoothly, safely, and in line with all rules and compliance obligations.
- Share your gaming expertise and support the team’s development and performance.
- Deliver strong service, positive energy, and a friendly approach throughout every shift.
Physical requirements
This position includes manual handling and lifting as part of normal duties. Tasks can involve moving stock, kegs, and deliveries, so you must be able to carry out physical work safely and efficiently.
About you
You bring experience from the gaming room environment, ideally gained in roles such as attendant, supervisor, or manager. You have learned from strong leaders and are ready to take the next step.
You should be confident, professional, and personable, with the ability to represent the gaming room as a visible face of the operation. A solid understanding of compliance and responsible gaming practices is essential.
A current RSA and RSG/RCG, as required in the relevant state, is also needed.
Benefits
ALH Hotels and the wider Endeavour Group network offer opportunities to grow your career. You will also have access to a discount card covering ALH Hotels, BWS, Dan Murphy’s and other Endeavour Group brands, along with discounts at Woolworths and Big W.
Support is available through Endeavour Wellbeing Support, including assistance for critical incidents, career matters, conflict, nutrition and lifestyle, money, family, legal issues, and employee assistance.
Additional information
As part of the recruitment process, successful candidates will need to complete employee due diligence checks. These checks may include a National Police Check.
The employer has also stated that no unsolicited resumes or agency approaches are required, and that fees will not be paid for unsolicited applications.
