Role Overview
As a Furniture Assembly and Kitchen Installation Specialist, you will collaborate closely with the Customer Relations and Home Furnishing teams to deliver an outstanding customer experience. Your responsibilities include sharing expert knowledge with IKEA Services Furniture Assemblers and Kitchen Installers to facilitate smooth measurement, assembly, and installation processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the IKEA store offers top-quality furniture assembly services that guarantee a satisfying customer journey.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of IKEA basic work principles and exhibit a friendly demeanor at customer locations.
- Deliver professional, prompt, and courteous furniture assembly services including delivery of IKEA products to customers' homes.
- Verify the correctness of loaded items, assess packaging condition, and ensure installation instructions are clear to support orderly installation.
- Clearly communicate installation details professionally and courteously to customers for confirmation of goods installation.
- Guarantee accuracy in measurements, clarity in photographs, and visibility of key logos or parts.
- Explain measurement procedures to customers while professionally introducing IKEA products and design philosophy with a friendly approach.
- Effectively and promptly address customer feedback or complaints, ensuring the highest service standards by service providers.
Candidate Profile
- Possess at least one to two years of hands-on experience in furniture assembly and installation.
- Skilled in operating and maintaining power tools safely and effectively.
- Experience thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced, and forward-looking work environment.
- Capable of understanding and fulfilling both current and prospective customer needs and expectations.
- Exhibit a positive attitude, resilience under pressure, and strong communication skills.
- Hold valid Class 3 and Class 4 driving licenses.
