Position Overview
As part of our effort to build and establish a professional fundraising strategy, we are offering a career opportunity for a Fundraiser (m/w/d). You will work closely with our Corporate Communications team experienced in internal and external communications and event management. Acting as the central point of contact, you will develop all hospital-owned fundraising, donation, and charity activities and liaise with existing support associations.
We seek a motivated individual to join us either full-time or part-time, initially on a two-year fixed-term contract.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement innovative fundraising strategies suited to hospital needs.
- Establish and nurture long-term relationships with major donors, foundations, sponsors, and partners while managing corresponding databases.
- Create and maintain a successful "Donor Journey" experience to engage donors effectively.
- Identify fundraising themes and conduct active fundraising and sponsorship acquisition.
- Organize, execute, and monitor administrative and controlling tasks related to fundraising activities.
- Enhance existing back-office processes and introduce new administrative workflows.
- Plan and carry out fundraising-related events.
- Evaluate and support the establishment of a support association ensuring targeted use of donations.
Requirements
- Completed degree in marketing, media, communication, business administration, or a related field.
- Several years of experience building and establishing successful long-term fundraising strategies, preferably within clinics or healthcare sectors.
- Willingness to work with flexible hours including occasional evenings, holidays, and weekends.
- Professional demeanor, ability to work independently with structured organization, and a strong interest in healthcare topics.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
