Fund Raising & Client Facing Specialist - Investment Banking

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Investment Banking professional to manage direct client engagement focused on Alternative Investment Funds involving significant transaction sizes. This position requires a comprehensive financial knowledge base, excellent communication abilities, and practical deal execution skills. Primary Responsibilities

• Lead front-end fund raising efforts by supporting mandates in Private Equity, Venture Capital, Debt, and Structured Finance.
• Develop and deliver investment pitches to a variety of investors including family offices, funds, and high net worth individuals.
• Organize and facilitate meetings, calls, and negotiations with prospective investors.
• Assist senior bankers with deal sourcing, client presentations, and mandate procurement.
• Foster and sustain relationships with investors, funds, and market intermediaries.
• Monitor investor feedback and ensure ongoing engagement throughout the fundraising process.
• Serve as the key contact for major investors and corporate clients, maintaining clear and professional communication.
• Collaborate with internal teams to guarantee smooth transaction execution and respond promptly to client inquiries.

• Support backend deal execution by preparing comprehensive Information Memorandums, Pitch Decks, Teasers, and Financial Models.
• Conduct detailed financial analyses, valuations, and sector research.
• Coordinate due diligence efforts across financial, legal, and commercial aspects.
• Manage data rooms, trackers, and Management Information Systems for ongoing transactions.
• Work with legal, compliance, and other internal units to ensure documentation and regulatory compliance.
• Assist in finalizing deal agreements, term sheets, and transaction closures.

• Conduct industry research, company profiling, and benchmarking.
• Analyze financial statements, forecasts, and corporate business models.
• Prepare internal documentation and summaries for leadership and investors.

• Maintain accurate deal pipelines, tracker reports, and investor information databases.
• Uphold compliance with all regulatory and internal policies.
• Support post-transaction documentation and reporting requirements.

Key Skills and Competencies

• Extensive knowledge of investment banking procedures and fundraising activities.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and advanced Excel usage.
• Strong communication and presentation capabilities suitable for client-facing roles.
• Ability to effectively multitask and maintain attention to detail while managing both customer interactions and backend processes.

Qualifications and Experience

• Educational background: MBA in Finance, Chartered Accountant (CA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), CA Intermediate, or Finance Graduate.
• A minimum of 4 years' experience in investment banking, fundraising, private equity, venture capital, or corporate finance.
• Preferred experience with equity or debt fundraising transactions and working closely with investors, funds, or financial institutions.
• Hands-on experience preparing Information Memorandums, pitch decks, and managing data rooms is highly valued.

Compensation

The remuneration package includes a fixed salary ranging from INR 70,000 to INR 90,000 per month, supplemented by variable incentives based on performance.
