Role Overview

An exciting opening exists for a full-time Warehouse Operative to join the logistics team at EZ Living Furniture's warehouse located at Galway City Docks. The position is integral to the smooth and efficient operation of a large and fast-moving warehouse environment. While prior warehouse experience is beneficial, it is not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates willing to learn and take on new challenges within a growing company.

Key Responsibilities

• Executing daily order picking and dispatch activities.
• Unloading goods from containers each day.
• Accurately barcoding and scanning stock movements from goods receipt through to dispatch.
• Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and health and safety standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Previous experience in a busy warehouse setting is advantageous but not essential.
• Possession of a valid forklift license for reach and counterbalance trucks is preferred; if unavailable, training will be provided.
• Current manual handling certification is desirable; training can be supplied if needed.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate loading and unloading of goods.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to undertake physically demanding tasks involving frequent heavy lifting.
