Full-Time Nanny for Rural Family Near Lundbreck, Alberta

About the Role

Are you someone who enjoys rural living and the outdoors? We are a friendly family near Lundbreck, Alberta (about 1.5 hours south of Calgary) looking for a dependable and caring nanny for full-time childcare of our two children. Because our home is in a remote area, you should be comfortable outdoors, around animals, and with living out of town.

Work Schedule and Duties

The position is Monday through Friday, from 7:30/8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no weekend or overnight shifts. Your responsibilities will include engaging the children in play, organizing activities tailored to their interests and needs, meal preparation and planning support, and encouraging outdoor play regardless of weather conditions. Crafts and creative projects will also be part of your routine. Besides childcare, light housekeeping duties will be expected.

Qualifications and Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess valid CPR and First Aid certification along with a police or criminal record check. Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for fostering a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for children are essential.

Additional Information

Initial interviews will be conducted via phone, with subsequent in-person meetings and reference checks required. Both live-in and live-out arrangements are negotiable. Compensation will be offered as a competitive hourly wage starting rate.
