Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated full-time nanny to join a warm and vibrant family living in Camp Hill, Queensland. This role involves approximately 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 6am to 2pm, with some flexibility for a 4-day week arrangement for suitable candidates. The position is permanent and requires an immediate start.
About the Family
This family includes two young boys aged 4 and 2, and they are expecting a baby girl in November. The father is a busy business owner, while the mother is currently a stay-at-home parent preparing for their new child. Responsibilities
- Providing sole care for the children when needed.
- Organizing enjoyable and engaging outings and activities.
- Transporting the children to swimming lessons, music classes, and other social engagements using the family vehicle.
- Preparing nutritious meals tailored to the children’s needs.
- Performing light household tasks including tidying the kitchen, cleaning dishes, taking out rubbish, and wiping down surfaces.
- Assisting with the smooth operation of mornings during busy household periods.
Candidate Profile
The ideal nanny is dependable, adaptable, personable, and genuinely passionate about nurturing young families. The candidate should respectfully adhere to family routines and parenting styles, be confident working autonomously, and naturally build trusting relationships. Previous experience of at least three years in professional childcare or nanny roles is essential, along with possession of a valid Blue Card, police clearance, current first aid and CPR certification, and a valid driver’s license.
