Compensation
The role pays $20 to $22 per hour, with overtime compensated at $30 to $33 per hour.
Role Overview
Jovie is looking for a skilled, warm, and energetic nanny to support different families with childcare. The work focuses on caring for infants and toddlers while parents are at work, and most schedules fall Monday through Friday during standard daytime hours. This opportunity suits someone who is personable, communicative, and comfortable creating a positive, child-centered environment.

This position is well suited to someone with prior experience caring for children through babysitting, nanny work, or group settings such as daycare centers, preschools, or church nurseries. The ideal candidate enjoys spending time with children and can bring creativity, patience, and reliability to each assignment.
Duties and Daily Activities
- Care for young infants and toddlers in family homes while parents are working.
- Keep children engaged through play, reading, arts and crafts, and similar age-appropriate activities.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with parents and coworkers.
- Maintain an active, child-focused environment and clean up after activities.
- Be prepared for outdoor time when weather allows and for physically active play.
Requirements
- Genuine enthusiasm for working with children and a friendly, creative approach.
- Availability for at least five days per week, with shifts lasting 6 to 9 hours between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license for commuting to assignments.
- At least 1 year of hands-on daily infant care experience.
- Ability to provide 3 references, including 2 child-related references and 1 character reference.
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Dependability that families and the team can count on.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Comfort with physical tasks such as lifting, bending, squatting, reaching, and pushing.
- Ability to safely lift up to 35 pounds and move repeatedly between the floor and standing position throughout the day.
- Capability to respond quickly and calmly in urgent situations.
