Full-Time Nanny - Ararimu, Auckland

Job Overview

A wonderful opportunity exists for a full-time nanny to join a warm family in Ararimu, Auckland, starting at the end of October 2026. The position cares for two children aged about 1 year and 5½ years. Initially, the role entails working two days per week from around 8:00 am to 3:30/4:00 pm, with the possibility of increasing to three or four days per week later. The family is looking for someone flexible about which days are worked, prioritizing the right fit to support their household.

Primary Responsibilities

The nanny will provide attentive care for the 1-year-old throughout the day, engaging in play, feeding, and maintaining daily routines. Light domestic tasks such as tidying activity areas and occasionally unloading the dishwasher will be part of the role. Assistance with school drop-offs and pickups for the older child might be requested but is not mandatory. The home environment has no indoor pets, but chickens are kept outdoors. The nanny can also accompany the younger child to Playcentre on working days if they wish. The father works remotely from a dedicated home office, allowing the nanny to work independently.

Requirements and Qualifications
