Role Summary

As a Meat Cutter at our Milton location, you will provide friendly, professional customer service while preparing and merchandising meat products for sale. You will maintain the meat department, handle orders and special product requests, and ensure compliance with company and Canadian Food Inspection Agency standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service tailored to customer needs
• Prepare various meat products for retail sale
• Merchandise and organize the meat department as required
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the meat area
• Receive and process meat deliveries and orders
• Handle special meat product requests
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities
• Ensure products meet company quality standards and CFIA regulations
• Uphold company policies and procedures
• Complete administrative tasks related to the department
• Provide technical training to new employees and clerks
• Support the Meat Manager or second-in-charge clerk where applicable

Qualifications

• Comprehensive knowledge of meat department operations and skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting
• Completion of High School Diploma
• At least 12 months of relevant experience
