About Gourmet Food Parlour
Gourmet Food Parlour is seeking a motivated and experienced Kitchen Porter to join our team working in Malahide, Ireland. This full-time position requires dedication and enthusiasm to contribute to a fast-paced kitchen environment, supporting the team and helping maintain operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure efficient washing of crockery and kitchen utensils.
- Perform daily cleaning duties across kitchen areas to maintain hygiene and safety standards.
- Conduct deep cleaning of kitchen equipment regularly.
- Keep storage and waste areas organized, clean, and compliant with disposal and recycling procedures.
- Assist with receiving deliveries and support duties as directed by the Head Chef.
- Adhere to all safety and hygiene protocols, including HACCP guidelines.
- Participate in training sessions to safely carry out all job functions.
- Complete additional reasonable tasks as assigned to support kitchen operations.
Candidate Profile
- Strong team player with the ability to remain composed under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Reliable with consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Flexible availability including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Compliant with company dress and personal hygiene standards in line with HACCP.
- Clear communication skills to engage effectively with team members.
- Willingness to undertake various tasks within the kitchen during each shift.
- Possession of a valid work permit or visa to work in Ireland.
