Role Overview
This is a full-time Bakery Clerk (Baker) opportunity in Canmore, Alberta. The position requires open availability for full-time hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional service to customers and support fellow team members whenever needed.
- Operate the cash register and assist with bagging grocery items.
- Explain products and share helpful information with shoppers.
- Keep the bakery area fully stocked and attractively arranged.
- Ensure only fresh items are placed on display.
- Respond to customer questions and concerns while maintaining a positive service experience.
- Clean tools, equipment, and the work area to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
- Use bakery and store equipment, including knives, as part of daily work.
Candidate Profile
The ideal applicant enjoys working with quality food, takes pride in excellent customer service, and brings a strong work ethic with a proactive, can-do attitude. Reliability, enthusiasm, and a willingness to go the extra mile are important. Prior retail customer service experience is an asset.
