Overview

SS Cyril & Philomena, part of Independence Mission Schools, is looking to hire a dedicated Full-Time Art Teacher for the 2026-2027 academic year located in Lansdowne, PA. The ideal candidate will embody outstanding character aligned with Catholic values and foster a positive, morally enriching classroom environment.

Primary Responsibilities

• Exemplify exemplary character consistent with Catholic teachings and promote a positive classroom atmosphere supporting the ethical development of students.
• Establish rigorous academic and behavioral standards, utilizing student progress data effectively to guide instructional approaches.
• Demonstrate commitment to continuous professional growth by actively engaging in coaching sessions, collaborating with grade-level teams, and participating in ongoing professional development opportunities.
• Engage with the wider school community by contributing talents and interests to extracurricular coaching and moderation activities.

Qualifications

• Possess at minimum a High School Diploma.
• Successfully clear all mandatory background checks required for employment.
