Fulfillment Specialist at Applied Materials - Bengaluru

About the Role

This position supports fulfillment operations at Applied Materials in Bangalore by managing supply and demand alignment for customer sales orders through to delivery. The role involves collaborating closely with Planning, Purchasing, and Logistics teams while supporting global customer order demands across different time zones. The incumbent will also focus on generating reports and dashboards to drive key business decisions and provide actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a broad grasp of supply and demand cycles concerning customer sales order execution through fulfillment completion.
• Create and analyze reports to track shipments, escalating issues and closing coordination loops with relevant departments.
• Develop strong understanding of customer needs and foster effective customer relationships.
• Address and resolve global customer escalations with appropriate solutions to mitigate tool downtime.
• Monitor delayed or missed fulfillment activities, preparing reports and initiating corrective measures.
• Adapt to supporting customer sales order demands across various international time zones via rotational shifts.
• Contribute to the Fulfillment Operations team by assisting with new reporting and dashboard requests alongside routine tactical activities.
• Participate in designing, developing, and maintaining ongoing metrics, reports, dashboards, and analyses crucial for business insights.
• Ensure reporting accuracy and timeliness within organizational controls and frameworks.
• Implement new business reports complying with existing policies, providing training and support to end users on report access.

Experience and Knowledge

• 4 to 8 years of relevant experience, primarily in operations and supply chain management.
• Essential end-user proficiency in SAP.
• Advanced capabilities with Excel, SQL, and Tableau for report development and data analysis.

Shift and Work Conditions

Applicants must be flexible with rotating shifts including 6:00 AM–3:00 PM, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM, 6:00 PM–3:00 AM, and 9:00 PM–6:00 AM, potentially extending to rotations lasting 2–3 months each.

Educational Requirements
