Frontend Developer (React)

Role overview

This contract opportunity is for a Frontend Developer specializing in React. The position is fully remote and calls for a weekly commitment of 10 to 40 hours. Compensation is set at $30 to $100 per hour.

What you will do

• Build, enhance, and support responsive web applications using React.js and modern JavaScript.
• Work in close partnership with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and product managers to ship polished features.
• Convert mockups and wireframes into interactive, accessible user interfaces.
• Improve performance, scalability, and cross-browser reliability across applications.
• Produce clean, reusable, and clearly documented code aligned with established engineering practices.
• Take part in code reviews, share helpful feedback, and support the growth of junior team members.

Requirements

• Deep practical experience building web applications with React.js and JavaScript.
• Proven ability to create and maintain responsive, user-focused interfaces.
• Strong communication skills in both writing and speaking, along with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
• Solid troubleshooting skills, including debugging, performance optimization, and browser compatibility work.
• Hands-on experience connecting frontends to RESTful APIs and external services.
