Role overview

This position is centered on supporting CAD and PLM implementation work while partnering with stakeholders across different regions to turn business needs into practical, industry-aligned solutions. The job also involves improving existing systems, building new capabilities from user feedback, and finding ways to make applications simpler and more efficient. In addition, the role contributes to the global standardization of engineering tools such as CAD/CAM/CAE and uses data analysis to investigate root causes and resolve operational issues.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage Teamcenter administration activities, including licensing, installation, configuration, deployment, maintenance, and patch updates.
  • Work independently on enhancement implementation tasks.
  • Coordinate with business stakeholders on high-impact initiatives and projects.
  • Help improve end-user and customer satisfaction through reliable business process support.
  • Carry out system testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution to keep the PLM environment stable and dependable.
  • Support users and key users through the service desk or ticketing system, with a focus on incident and problem resolution.
  • Provide end-user training where required.
  • Contribute as a member of project teams to deliver assigned project scope.
  • Handle Siemens Teamcenter product configuration tasks.
  • Support Siemens NX customer default administration and NX Open scripting activities.
  • Use PowerShell scripting for administrative or automation tasks.
  • Apply knowledge of Teamcenter architecture, data model, BMIDE configuration, and deployments.
  • Work with NX and NX integration, including customer default management.
  • Support NX Open automation scripting and workflow designer usage.
  • Understand Catia TCIC integration.
  • Travel nationally and internationally as needed, including remote collaboration with teams across the organization.

Requirements

  • Background in Information Technology or Engineering.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Teamcenter and NX projects.
  • Practical experience with Siemens Teamcenter product configuration.
  • Hands-on exposure to Siemens NX customer default administration.
  • Working knowledge of NX Open scripts and automation scripting.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting.
  • Knowledge of Siemens Teamcenter architecture and data model.
  • Experience with BMIDE configurations and deployments.
  • Understanding of NX integration and customer default management.
  • Familiarity with Catia TCIC integration.
  • Ability to work effectively in a globally distributed, remote environment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% for domestic and international assignments.

Additional information

This is a global role covering all company sites. The position requires collaboration with stakeholders at all levels of the organization and includes day and overnight travel of up to 25% to domestic and international locations.
