Role overview

Rahantech GmbH is hiring a Frontend Developer in Hamburg, Germany. This is a full-time, on-site role focused on building user-facing web experiences that are responsive, accessible, and technically robust.

What you will do

  • Create mobile-first web interfaces and responsive pages with HTML, CSS, and contemporary JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Make sure pages work smoothly across different devices and browsers while meeting accessibility and performance expectations.
  • Connect frontend interfaces to APIs and backend services to support dynamic, interactive product features.
  • Collaborate closely with backend engineers and product stakeholders to deliver complete end-to-end solutions.
  • Develop, maintain, and run unit and integration tests, and troubleshoot cross-browser as well as performance-related issues.

What we are looking for

  • A qualification in Computer Science or another relevant discipline.
  • Strong command of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3, with an emphasis on writing clean and practical code.
  • Hands-on experience with frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Working knowledge of frontend build tools like Webpack, Gulp, or comparable tools.
  • Experience using Git or other version control systems.
  • Good understanding of RESTful APIs and how frontend and backend systems fit together.
