Job description
About the Company
Neuffer Fenster + Türen GmbH is a long-established Stuttgart-based business founded in 1872 and recognized as Europe’s leading e-commerce player in the window and door segment. Operating nine online stores, the company positions itself as a technology-focused organization that values ambitious, collaborative people who want to contribute to its continued growth.
Role Overview
In this frontend role, you will help build and improve web applications that support the company’s digital commerce platforms. The position combines feature development, testing, performance work, and ongoing product quality improvements.
What You Will Do
- Create and support frontend features and reusable components with TypeScript, Vue, Tailwind, and Vite.
- Build unit tests for the frontend code you deliver.
- Develop API clients that connect the interface with backend services.
- Review frontend logs and metrics to spot issues early and improve reliability, speed, and user experience.
- Test, troubleshoot, and fix frontend components and application behavior.
- Continuously refine usability, accessibility, and performance across web applications.
What They Are Looking For
The ideal candidate brings several years of hands-on experience with modern JavaScript and TypeScript, along with practical exposure to Vue.js or React. Since the team works with Vue.js, prior Vue experience is especially useful. You should also be comfortable using Vite, state management tools such as Pinia or Vuex, and modern CSS approaches, including utility-first frameworks like Tailwind CSS. A strong testing mindset is important, and experience with unit testing or TDD is a plus. The role also calls for solid analytical thinking, a proactive attitude toward improvements, and confident communication in fluent English.
Nice-to-Have Experience
Additional advantages include experience across the full software development lifecycle, from research and design through development and implementation. Familiarity with Tailwind, deeper exposure to Vite and state management libraries, and fluency in German would also be beneficial.
Benefits
This opportunity offers a stimulating role in an innovative, international environment with short decision paths, open communication, and room to implement your own ideas. The workplace is located in central Stuttgart with excellent transport access. Employees can also benefit from team events, internal training and development options, fresh fruit and smoothies, sponsored lunch three times per week, TGIF-BBQ on a 300 sqm terrace, and corporate perks with discounts from well-known brands and manufacturers.
Additional Information
The company invites candidates who want to join an open and dynamic team of more than 120 colleagues in Stuttgart.
