Role overview
This position supports a locally owned retail pharmacy store by overseeing front-store customer service activities and helping ensure the customer experience stays at the center of daily operations. The role focuses on managing cash-related functions, cashier and merchandising support, and maintaining smooth store execution.
Key duties
- Lead and support cashier and merchandising staff, making sure store policies and operating standards are followed.
- Provide training, direction, and ongoing coaching to team members in their day-to-day responsibilities.
- Monitor loss-prevention practices, cash office inventory, cashier tracking, tracking sheets, and PC Optimum procedures.
- Ensure store staff maintain a professional appearance in line with the uniform policy.
- Respond to customer questions about product locations, rainchecks, and similar store inquiries.
- Handle customer concerns such as refunds and exchanges by following approved guidelines.
- Encourage customer participation in the CSI Survey.
- Keep shelves tidy, clean, organized, and properly rotated.
- Set up and remove product displays as directed by the AFSM/FSM.
- Maintain housekeeping standards and an overall store image that meets expectations.
- Follow health and safety requirements at all times.
- Carry out clerical and banking tasks when needed.
- Support cashier work whenever required and complete other assigned duties.

Compensation
