Role overview

G4S Secure Solutions Ireland is hiring a Front of House Security Officer for its Glanmire, County Cork location. This is a full-time on-site position offering a basic rate of €15.41 per hour, along with several additional pay provisions depending on shift type and hours worked.

Pay and working pattern

The role includes 36 contracted hours per week. The roster requires complete flexibility from Monday to Sunday, covering both day and night shifts. Pay enhancements include a Sunday premium of €3.44 per hour, an unsociable-hours allowance of €20.00 per shift, overtime at 1.5 times the normal rate after 96 hours worked in a fortnight, and bank holiday pay at double time when applicable, all subject to the ERO order.

Key duties

  • Deal with alarms, incidents, and emergencies in a composed and professional manner.

  • Record incidents accurately and report suspicious activity as it happens.
  • Work with emergency services when needed to resolve issues efficiently.

Required profile

Applicants must hold a valid PSA Security Guarding licence, have at least 2 years of security experience, and be able to provide 5 years of verifiable employment and personal activity for screening and vetting. A full Irish driving licence and access to private transport are also required.
