About the Role
Aramark Ireland, a leading provider of food, facilities management, and hospitality services, is seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented Front of House Catering Supervisor to join their team in Cork. This role is ideal for an experienced hospitality professional passionate about delivering exceptional service and leading teams in a fast-paced atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service to all clients and guests.
- Ensure the front of house areas are well-merchandised according to the unit's standard operating procedures.
- Oversee the daily smooth operation of the catering facility.
- Manage customer interactions, including handling requests, feedback, and complaints effectively.
- Complete weekly administrative tasks such as bookwork.
- Manage cash handling and related processes responsibly.
- Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of front of house areas at the highest standards.
- Implement HACCP procedures alongside Health and Safety regulations.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety and hygiene standards within the facility.
Candidate Requirements
- Fluency in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- At least one year of experience in a supervisory or assistant management role within a high-end café, coffee shop, restaurant, or hospitality environment.
- Certified in HACCP and Food Safety with a solid understanding of food hygiene and compliance requirements.
- Proven leadership abilities to motivate, develop, and manage a team effectively.
- Strong customer service skills paired with a commitment to delivering a superior customer experience.
- Experience in merchandising, brand promotion, and supporting marketing initiatives is advantageous.
- Excellent attention to detail and dedication to maintaining high standards.
- Competent in cash handling and financial management, with good computer literacy.
- Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently under pressure and meet deadlines.
- A proactive team player who thrives in a dynamic, customer-centric environment.
