About the Role
We are supporting an international agricultural technology company in establishing their new Munich office and are looking to hire a Front Desk Receptionist / Office Administrator on a full-time basis. This role offers an exciting chance to join early in the company's German expansion, playing a vital role in fostering a professional, inviting, and well-organized atmosphere while assisting daily operations for an evolving international team.
Primary Responsibilities
- Greet employees, visitors, clients, and external collaborators courteously and professionally.
- Manage the reception area to ensure visitors have an excellent experience.
- Handle incoming phone calls and general inquiries by directing them appropriately.
- Organize meeting spaces and assist with setup, catering, and hospitality requirements.
- Support office setup activities such as ordering supplies, coordinating with vendors, and helping establish office protocols.
- Liaise with building management, service providers, and suppliers as needed.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and courier services.
- Offer general administrative assistance to leadership and the broader office team.
- Assist with scheduling, travel arrangements, and other administrative tasks as required.
- Maintain an orderly, efficient, and welcoming office environment.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
- Prior experience in reception, front desk, office administration, hospitality, or customer service roles.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills coupled with a professional and positive demeanor.
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
- Proficiency in German language is highly valued.
- Excellent organizational skills with capacity to juggle multiple tasks effectively.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and detail-conscious.
- Competent in Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced international setting.
