Fresher Relationship Officer - Axis Bank

About the Role

This position is focused on customer acquisition and account growth for a banking branch in Madurai. The role involves building a quality customer base, supporting branch expansion efforts, and helping drive digital adoption among new customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Acquire savings accounts from the targeted customer segment and generate referrals from the assigned catchment area.
• Maintain strong quality standards while sourcing customers, including the right mix of constitution, product type, and segment.
• Support customers with onboarding and activation on digital banking platforms.
• Work with the Senior Sales Manager on catchment mapping and branch scoping activities.
• Share regular updates with the Senior Sales Manager and Branch Manager regarding customer needs and potential business opportunities.
• Follow all sales compliance requirements and organizational SOPs consistently.
• Source customers carefully while adhering to internal policies as well as external rules and regulatory guidelines.
• Carry out outreach activities in the catchment to attract quality HNI customers and improve the bank’s local visibility.
• Contribute to central initiatives and actively seek referrals from existing customers.
• Coordinate with team members and support teams to deliver relevant products and service solutions to customers.

Candidate Profile

The employer is looking for a graduate candidate below 27 years of age who communicates very well in English and has strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills. The degree must already be completed.
