Company Overview
Questech Energy Services was established in the UAE in 2016 and works as an energy-efficiency solutions provider with ESCO authorization from the RSB UAE. The company offers end-to-end services across control systems, automation, and energy performance, including energy audits, measurement and verification, retrofit execution, Building Management Systems (BMS), Energy Management Systems (EMS), extra-low voltage systems, metering and billing, chilled water cooling services, and annual maintenance contracts. It also supports building operations to improve performance and lower energy use. In addition, the company is the exclusive distributor for QPlan, a highly energy-efficient chiller manufacturer from Hungary.
Role Summary
This is a permanent, full-time site-based role for a mechanical engineering graduate who is keen to build practical experience in chilled water systems and site operations. The assignment begins with a project in Abu Dhabi lasting 6 to 9 months, and future project locations will depend on the company’s pipeline across the UAE. The role is designed for someone eager to learn, work hands-on, and grow under close technical mentorship from the engineering team.
Work Details
- Employment is permanent and full-time.
- Initial site placement will be in Abu Dhabi for 6 to 9 months.
- Working days are Monday through Saturday.
- Working hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Compensation is paid and will be finalized after the interview based on experience and internships.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering is required.
- Candidates should have a solid grasp of mechanical engineering basics, along with familiarity with HVAC and chilled water systems.
- Applicants must be able to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and simple schematics.
- A genuine interest in learning technical procedures, following engineering direction, and handling site duties is important.
- Strong communication skills are needed, along with the ability to coordinate a small team of technicians.
- Full commitment to on-site work in Abu Dhabi is essential.
Key Duties
- Carry out technical site activities and troubleshooting tasks while working under the supervision of senior engineers.
- Coordinate, direct, and oversee the daily work of site technicians.
- Act as the main on-site communication point for updates and issue reporting to the Project Engineer and wider team.
- Maintain accurate daily site records, reports, and project-related documentation.

This position is intended for a fresh graduate who is motivated to learn and can be trained and mentored by the engineering team. The role combines site management with practical technical responsibilities and requires readiness for full-time field work.
