About the Role

We are presenting this opportunity on behalf of a partner company seeking a freelance Graphic Designer specialized in signage and visual communication based in Australia. This remote freelance position focuses on designing high-quality signage visuals for a variety of corporate and architectural applications. The designer will collaborate closely with project teams, clients, and production partners to generate precise, effective visual solutions, thriving in a fast-moving environment that values adaptability, strong organizational skills, and deadline adherence.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate signage design visuals grounded in project briefs, technical specifications, and brand standards.
• Adjust creative designs to suit diverse bespoke signage and visual communication projects.
• Work collaboratively with team members, clients, and supply chain associates to meet project goals.
• Utilize industry-standard design software to prepare accurate, consistent artwork.
• Handle multiple design tasks concurrently while ensuring deadlines are consistently met.
• Carefully examine project specifics and organize files to be production-ready as needed.

Candidate Requirements

• Between 1 to 2 years of experience in graphic or signage design or a similar visual communication role.
• A compelling portfolio showcasing relevant graphic and signage design work.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and/or CorelDRAW.
• Strong grasp of design principles, effective layout, and visual precision.
• Exceptional attention to detail and capability to deliver superior quality outputs on schedule.
• Experience managing multiple projects under fast-paced conditions.
• Advanced computer skills including digital file management.
• Significant experience in the signage industry is highly preferred.
• Ability to read signage drawings and produce artwork scaled appropriately for fabrication is advantageous.
• Experience with Signlabs or equivalent signage design software is a bonus.
