Role Overview
A premium clothing and lifestyle label is looking for a skilled graphic designer to develop two connected logo assets for its brand identity. The creative direction is inspired by subtle discoveries, a sense of mystery, and understated luxury.
What You’ll Create
The main output is a refined wordmark for HIDDEN METHOD, where the word METHOD should be partially concealed in a tasteful way to suggest secrecy and discovery. In addition, you’ll design a separate monogram or icon that can stand on its own across different brand uses.
Design Direction
The visuals should communicate hidden information, feel contemporary and restrained, and make thoughtful use of negative space wherever possible. The icon should include a subtle reveal or smart detail, such as concealed lettering or abstract references to magic. It also needs to work well for embroidery, small-size applications, monochrome usage, and premium apparel branding.
Deliverables
- Primary wordmark logo with HIDDEN METHOD, with METHOD partially obscured
- Standalone monogram or icon logo
- Combined lockup featuring both logo elements
- Vector source files and PNG exports for every asset
- Black-and-white versions
- Embroidery-ready version
- Version optimized for social profiles
Requirements
- Demonstrated logo design experience, ideally within fashion, lifestyle, or luxury brands
- A portfolio showing strong use of negative space, inventive visual reveals, and a modern design style
- Ability to produce logos that remain effective for embroidery, small formats, and monochrome use
- Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and similar design tools
- Careful attention to detail and the ability to translate abstract ideas into visual concepts
- Clear communication and responsiveness to design feedback
- Availability for a one-off project with a fast turnaround
- Comfort working remotely
