Role Overview

They are seeking a freelance graphic designer specializing in fashion, brand aesthetics, and contemporary design trends to shape the visual identity of brands from initial concepts to final execution. A passion for design combined with style sensitivity and an interest in the fashion and production sectors are essential.

Entry is project-based initially, with the potential for subsequent transition to part-time or full-time roles.

Key Responsibilities

• Create visual concepts and brand identities for fashion and lifestyle brands.
• Design logos, typography, color schemes, and layout systems.
• Develop graphic elements for collections, including prints, patterns, labels, and packaging.
• Produce lookbooks, campaign visuals, and social media content.
• Perform image editing, retouching, and visual staging consistent with each brand’s style.
• Create motion designs and short video formats such as reels, edits, and case videos.
• Contribute to web design, including layout, structure, and visual implementation within WordPress.
• Manage design projects independently from conception to production.
• Ensure design quality and brand consistency across all touchpoints.

Qualifications

• 1 to 5 years of professional experience in graphic design, preferably within agencies or the fashion, lifestyle, or branding fields.
• Not required to reside in Berlin but must be willing to attend the Berlin office for certain project phases.
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
• A robust portfolio focused on brand aesthetics, layout systems, typography, and content design.
• A completed degree or equivalent training in design—exceptional portfolios may substitute this requirement.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, notably Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects.
• Experience in motion design and video editing tailored for social media and digital platforms.
• Competence with AI-driven tools for image creation, motion/video, layout, and concept development.
• Organized and independent working style combined with teamwork and dedication to high design standards.
• A strong sense for visual trends, storytelling, and brand-aligned design.
