Overview
Ignites Human Capital Services Pvt Ltd is seeking an experienced Fraud Investigator for a US Bank located in Hyderabad. This role involves conducting detailed investigations into complex fraud cases, providing risk-based conclusions, and contributing to fraud prevention strategies. The position offers a salary of approximately 5 lakhs per annum plus incentives and requires working in shifts aligned with US timings.
Key Responsibilities
- Thoroughly investigate allegations of sophisticated fraud by employing specialized techniques such as interviewing, document examination, and evidence handling.
- Analyze cases and potentially suspicious scenarios to draw accurate risk-based conclusions to reduce fraud losses.
- Compile and prepare investigative and regulatory reports, including Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs).
- Detect emerging fraud patterns and share insights with management teams.
- Identify breaches of internal procedures and recommend corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
- Make judicious decisions aligned with regulatory requirements, banking policies, and industry best practices.
- Enhance anti-fraud strategies by analyzing, implementing, and continuously refining fraud prevention processes.
- Showcase in-depth knowledge of protocols, controls, and documentation pertinent to fraud reviews.
Candidate Profile & Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year experience in international fraud investigation with non-voice process exposure.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills particularly for collaborating within international teams.
- Willingness and flexibility to work in rotational shifts, including night shifts as required.
- Ability to demonstrate sound judgment under regulatory and organizational policy frameworks.
