Overview
Vaco Atlanta is seeking Fraud Investigators to join their bustling fraud operations team for the holiday season, focusing on identifying and mitigating fraudulent transactions to safeguard customers. This contract position lasts 4-6 months, with a hybrid work setting based in Vinings, Atlanta, GA.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze suspicious transactions and investigate potential fraud cases in a high-volume environment.
- Monitor real-time transaction queues and resolve high-risk alerts to prevent financial losses.
- Identify trends related to fraudulent activities and contribute to fraud prevention strategies.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Minimum of one year experience in fraud investigation, loss prevention, or related investigative roles.
- Prior experience within sectors such as banking, financial services, ecommerce, retail, or financial crimes is preferred.
- Proven analytical, investigative, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced, demanding work environment.
- Experience with AML (Anti-Money Laundering) or SAR (Suspicious Activity Reporting) is advantageous but not mandatory.
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly pay ranging from $25 to $28 per hour based on individual qualifications and location.
