About the Role
Our client, a dynamic and rapidly expanding aircraft leasing platform based in Dublin, is seeking a recently qualified ACA or ACCA professional to join their Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. The role is ideal for candidates coming from backgrounds such as Big 4 Deal Advisory, Restructuring, Corporate Finance, Transaction Services, or similarly analytical finance positions, with considerable hands-on experience in Excel and financial modelling.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and manage financial models utilized for budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.
- Generate cash flow forecasts, budgets, and perform scenario analyses to inform decision making.
- Analyze and interpret large, complex datasets to extract valuable financial insights.
- Deliver weekly and monthly reports on revenue, profitability, and variance analyses.
- Identify and articulate key financial trends, business drivers, and shifts in performance metrics.
- Prepare detailed commentary, tables, and presentations intended for senior management and Board-level stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Accounting, Treasury, and other departments to support commercial initiatives and decisions.
- Continuously enhance current financial models, reporting frameworks, and analytical tools.
Candidate Profile
- Recently qualified ACA or ACCA accountant; preference for those with Big 4 experience.
- Advanced Excel skills, including managing large raw datasets and proficient use of formulas, filters, and pivot tables.
- Proven expertise in financial modelling with the ability to discuss models personally built or significantly developed.
- Background in Deal Advisory, Restructuring, Corporate Finance, Transaction Services, FP&A or similar roles involving intricate financial analysis is advantageous.
- Exceptional analytical skills coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
- Commercially aware, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
- Aviation or aircraft leasing experience is a plus but not mandatory.
