Job description
Role overview
This is a first-of-its-kind growth marketing position where you will help create the company’s demand engine from scratch, working alongside experienced operators and with a clearly defined ideal customer profile already in place.
You will be joining a SaaS platform that helps private equity firms gain better visibility and control over their portfolio companies, including performance, risk, strategic initiatives, and value creation. The business already has real product-market fit, annual recurring revenue above €1M, a defined ICP, and traction in the US market.
The immediate focus is keeping the pipeline moving through tactics that match how private equity buyers really make decisions: trust, reputation, referrals, and presence in the right circles. This is not a role for generic content or recycled playbooks. Instead, the work calls for targeted, commercially relevant marketing that supports revenue growth.
You will collaborate closely with leadership, sales, and a fast-moving team that values sharp thinking. While you will have room to shape your own working style, you will also have access to a strong base of real sales calls, clear messaging, and leaders who will coach and challenge you as you ramp.
What you will be responsible for
- Designing and running demand generation programs that reliably produce qualified MQLs and support SQL creation and revenue growth.
- Turning sales activity and customer conversations into campaign messaging that sounds authentic to the market rather than overly polished or generic.
- Strengthening discoverability in AI-driven search environments such as ChatGPT, Claude, and similar tools by applying the practical foundations and distribution methods that influence visibility.
- Growing the company’s presence on software comparison websites, third-party platforms, and relevant trade or industry publications.
- Producing clear, useful content for LinkedIn, email, the website, and customer communications to support outbound efforts and event follow-up.
- Supporting leadership with thought leadership content grounded in real market perspective and live deal experience.
- Planning and helping execute high-value industry events across Europe and North America, including follow-up actions that turn conversations into pipeline opportunities.
- Using modern marketing tools and AI to improve output while maintaining strong quality standards.
- Monitoring campaign performance, reporting on what is working, and turning successful activities into repeatable processes that can scale.
What you bring
- Between 2 and 5 years of experience in B2B SaaS, technology, or growth marketing, with startup or scale-up exposure being especially valuable.
- Strong writing and editing ability, with a high bar for clarity, accuracy, and detail.
- A commercial outlook that focuses on pipeline impact, conversion rates, and closed deals rather than vanity metrics.
- Hands-on experience managing campaigns from start to finish.
- Comfort working closely with sales teams and changing course quickly when market feedback shows a message or approach is not resonating.
- Genuine interest in how AI is affecting buyer behaviour, along with a willingness to test ideas and execute quickly.
- Confidence to represent the company professionally and credibly at in-person industry events.
Why this opportunity stands out
You will not be starting from zero. The business already has strong momentum, proven product-market fit, more than €1M in ARR, a defined ICP, and evidence that the US market is active.
Your work will be measured by meaningful business outcomes such as meetings booked, deals advanced, and revenue closed—not by empty vanity metrics.
You will also learn directly from founders who have successfully scaled multiple startups, and from a sales team already operating deeply in the market and generating real insights every week. There is also a library of real sales calls and effective messaging to help you ramp quickly, with leaders who will invest time early so you can take ownership with confidence.
If you want a role where your work is highly visible, speed and sound judgement matter, and you can shape the marketing function as the company enters a strong growth phase over the next 2 to 3 years, this role offers that opportunity.
