Job description
About Infilla
Infilla is a seed-stage GovTech startup valued at $6 million, dedicated to simplifying housing permitting processes in the United States. The company operates profitably with a zero-customer-churn rate and offers a mission-driven solution addressing the US housing shortage. Key clients include major cities such as New York City and San Francisco, and the company is transitioning from founder-led sales toward building sustainable, long-term municipal partnerships.
Role Overview
As the inaugural Account Executive, you will be instrumental in establishing the sales function from the ground up, working directly alongside the CEO. Your primary responsibility will involve managing the entire sales cycle for intricate government deals with annual contract values (ACV) exceeding $50,000. This position suits someone who excels in managing extensive procurement procedures and developing replicable sales playbooks vital for scaling Infilla’s outreach.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete enterprise sales process, dealing with complex procurement frameworks, extended budget cycles, and obtaining city council approvals.
- Engage multiple stakeholders including department directors, IT leaders, and elected officials to foster internal champions and lessen risks associated with single-threaded deals.
- Collaborate with the CEO to establish formal discovery methods and document a scalable Sales Playbook that remains effective beyond individual deals.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum three years’ experience in enterprise SaaS with full ownership of sales cycles, proven success closing multi-stakeholder deals of $50K+ ACV, consistently meeting or exceeding quotas.
- Demonstrated capability to build sales pipelines and manage complex deals independently, particularly in a seed-stage startup environment without the reliance on SDR teams.
- Background in navigating regulated sectors or public institutions, experience with formal RFP processes, and handling multifaceted political landscapes within government entities.
Additional Information
- This position is fully remote within the United States.
- The compensation package includes a base salary ranging from $100,000 to $150,000 complemented by equity participation in the company.
