About the Role
This position is based in Central London (office attendance required 5 days a week) reporting directly to the Chairman of a family office. The family office operates in three core areas: developing owned businesses from startup through growth, investing in entrepreneur-led expanding companies, and managing a diverse portfolio of publicly traded global investments. The successful candidate will work closely with the founder and the small family office team, engaging in a blend of administrative, organizational, and research activities focused on business and market intelligence. The role demands intellectual curiosity, excellent organizational skills, and strong commercial understanding.
Key Responsibilities
- Enhance the efficiency and functionality of digital data storage and retrieval systems.
- Streamline information workflows to ensure timely delivery of actionable insights and updates.
- Conduct research and analysis on markets, technologies, and companies to support competitive evaluations and identify pivotal success factors.
- Prepare materials and documentation for Board meetings and other relevant information support.
- Accompany the Chairman to Board meetings and actively engage in follow-up analysis of significant outcomes.
- Monitor selected investments and provide relevant commentary on market conditions and business performance.
- Support the identification and evaluation of new technological advancements aligned with the family office's five investment sectors.

Experience & Education
- Graduated from a top-tier university with a minimum grade of high 2:1 or first class.
- Academic background in business management, economics, finance, or related investment disciplines.
- 2 to 3 years of professional experience post-graduation demonstrating transferable administrative and organizational skills.
- Proven expertise in utilizing AI technologies for enhancing business operations and analysis.
Compensation
The salary offered ranges from £45,000 to £55,000 annually, inclusive of potential bonuses.
