Formsetter - Concrete Works for High Purity Alumina Project

Project Overview

McCosker Contracting Pty Ltd is executing the Concrete Works Package for the Alpha High Purity Alumina (HPA) Plant situated in Gladstone, Queensland. This significant project will involve building more than 10,000 cubic meters of reinforced concrete in the upcoming 12 months, and we are assembling a skilled trades team to achieve this goal.

Work Arrangements and Pay

• Options for fly-in-fly-out (FIFO) or drive-in-drive-out (DIDO) employment arrangements
• Work schedule of 2 weeks on site followed by 1 week off
• Starting entry-level wage rates for Formsetters/Carpenters range from $40.11 to $41.92 per hour plus applicable penalties
• A site allowance of $5 per hour applies to all hours worked

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of a relevant trade certification or demonstrable equivalent experience in the trade
• A valid driver’s license
• Current Construction Industry Safety Card (White or Blue Card)
• Documented experience performing the formsetting trade
