Role overview

Flik Hospitality Group is looking to bring on full-time and part-time Food Service Utility staff right away at City Cafe in Tamarac, Florida. This role focuses on keeping kitchen and service support areas clean, organized, and ready for daily food operations.

Work location and schedule

The position is based at City Cafe, 6701 Hiatus Road, Tamarac, FL 33321. Applications are accepted online only. The schedule is full time or part time, Monday through Friday, on a day-shift schedule, with final timing shared during the interview.

What you will do

• Keep kitchen workspaces clean, orderly, and safe for food service operations.
• Sweep and mop floors to meet sanitation and safety expectations.
• Clean worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food preparation surfaces.
• Collect and remove trash, place waste in the correct containers, and clean garbage cans with steam or water hoses when needed.
• Move supplies and equipment between storage areas and work areas.
• Help set up banquet tables and front-of-house areas.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and delivering supplies and products.
• Distribute utensils, supplies, and portable equipment as needed.
• Follow all required sanitation and safety rules.
• Take on other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous customer service experience is preferred.
• Applicants must be able to carry out the essential duties of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Certain positions may require a Florida Level 2 background screening.
• The workplace is drug-free.
