About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and committed Food Safety Sanitor to join our team in Florence, Alabama. This position plays a vital role in upholding the highest standards of sanitation and safety throughout our food production processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute the eight-step sanitation process in compliance with food safety policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with supervisors and management to maintain proper sanitation standards.
• Handle and lift hoses, equipment, and chemical containers frequently.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, face shields, goggles, aprons, boots, and safety glasses.
• Work with chemical substances safely while using PPE designed for the task.
• Stand, lift, and crouch for long periods during night shifts.
• Implement Lock-out Tag-out (LOTO) safety procedures.
• Perform additional duties as needed to support sanitation operations.

Required Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Capable of following instructions from managers and accountable for personal responsibilities.
• Heightened safety awareness with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work in environments experiencing extreme temperature variations.

Work Environment

The job involves exposure to wet, hot, and cold conditions while wearing PPE. Shift schedules may vary based on location.
