Role Overview

We are seeking a Food Outlet Attendant who excels in customer service and operational floor duties. You will juggle food and beverage orders, ensure hygiene and safety compliance, and help deliver seamless service across two outlets with varying service styles, including table service and point-of-sale order handling. Additionally, your role will extend to supporting private function service as needed.

Core Responsibilities

• Communicating clearly and accurately while taking food and drink orders.
• Operating the point of sale system and managing cash transactions.
• Adhering to safe food handling procedures.
• Preparing barista-quality coffee consistently.
• Providing exceptional service to members and guests at all times.
• Promoting Club events and efficiently disseminating information to patrons.
• Offering attentive table service and meal delivery.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of work areas.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience (ideally two or more years) in a similar frontline food and beverage role.
• Preferably hold or willing to obtain Food Handler Hygiene certification.
• Knowledge or experience in table service standards and menu items.
• Ability to engage effectively with diverse clientele.
• Strong communication skills and customer relation abilities.
• Good time management and organizational capability.
• Professional personal appearance and exemplary service approach.
• Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate is desirable; can be obtained after employment commencement.
• Legal eligibility to work in Australia.
