Role Overview

We seek a full-time, permanent Team Lead for our Kilmacanogue Foodhall to aid the management team and lead your department in the absence of a manager. Responsibilities include opening and closing procedures, daily store operations, supporting management through various tasks, cash handling and reconciliation, overseeing employee breaks, managing customer inquiries, and upholding excellent customer service standards. Candidates should possess food industry experience and demonstrate a proactive attitude toward leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintaining courteous, respectful customer service and effectively handling complaints, escalating when necessary.
• Performing end-of-day cash reconciliation, safe counts, and cash deposits.
• Executing opening and closing duties as directed, fostering teamwork during shifts without a manager present.
• Engaging in subtle upselling by advising customers, suggesting alternatives, and encouraging exploration of products.
• Processing payments and refunds efficiently while maintaining excellent customer interactions.
