Food Counter Attendant

Overview

Quesada Burritos & Tacos is hiring a full-time food counter attendant in Calgary, Alberta. The position is based at the worksite, so the duties must be performed in person and cannot be done remotely.

Language Requirement

English is required for this role.

Education

A secondary school graduation certificate is needed.

Experience

No prior experience is necessary, as training will be provided.

Job Duties

• Clear tables, trays, and chairs, and keep service areas tidy.
• Wash dishes and other items by hand and maintain sanitation standards.
• Track the amount of food consumed and used.
• Pack food for take-out orders.
• Portion, wrap, and assemble food items.
• Prepare, reheat, and complete simple menu items.
• Take customer orders accurately.
• Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work areas, cupboards, storage spaces, appliances, and equipment.
• Manage cleaning products safely and store them properly.
• Receive supplies, unpack them, and place them in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
• Dispose of kitchen waste and garbage.
• Keep kitchen knives sharp and ready for use.
• Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
• Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit.

Work Arrangement

This is an on-site position. All work must be completed at the physical location with no remote option.
