Food Counter Attendant

Overview

This role involves working on-site to provide essential support in food preparation and customer service at the food counter. The position requires hands-on tasks related to food handling, packaging, and kitchen sanitation in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of food usage quantities.
• Package food items for take-out orders efficiently.
• Portion and wrap various food items appropriately.
• Prepare, heat, and finalize simple food dishes.
• Stock refrigerators and salad bars to ensure availability.
• Take customers' orders with attentiveness and accuracy.
• Operate manual and electrical kitchen appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim food products.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen areas including surfaces, storage spaces, appliances, and equipment.
• Properly handle and store cleaning chemicals and products.
• Receive incoming supplies, unpack, and store them in designated areas like refrigerators, freezers, and cupboards.
• Dispose of kitchen garbage and waste responsibly.
• Perform floor maintenance tasks such as sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing.
• Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruits as required.
