Role overview
Dalata Hotel Group is looking for a Food & Beverage Supervisor for its bar operation in Galway. In this role, you will report to the Food and Beverage Manager and help ensure guests receive warm, prompt, and efficient service at all times.

Key responsibilities
- Deliver food and beverage service in line with the hotel’s standard operating procedures.
- Prepare the outlet on time and keep it running smoothly throughout service.
- Keep all food and beverage areas clean, organised, and presentable.
- Adjust heating, lighting, and music/TV settings to maintain a welcoming environment for guests.
- Provide fast, courteous, and consistent service throughout every shift.
- Increase revenue by using effective upselling techniques.
- Complete daily SOP checklists to support training and service consistency.
- Carry out daily and weekly cleaning checklists to maintain strong hygiene standards.
What you need
- Experience in a hotel environment, ideally in a 3-star or 4-star property, is preferred but not compulsory.
- Background in a busy, high-pressure service setting.
- Strong English communication skills, both spoken and written.
- Prior use of Micros is an advantage.
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including midweek and weekend rota patterns.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
- Reliable, committed, and willing to put effort into the role.
