The role
This opportunity is for enthusiastic Food & Beverage professionals to join a luxury hotel team in Newcastle. The position calls for genuine passion for food, beverage, and high-quality guest service.
- Section wait staff for à la carte and gastro-pub style service
- Food and beverage servers across a range of service styles
Shifts are available across different arrangements, with a strong focus on evening work. Both casual and part-time contracts may be offered. Applicants holding a current working holiday visa should be prepared to commit for a minimum of 6 months.
What you will bring
The team is looking for polished, energetic, and guest-oriented people who can help create outstanding dining and bar experiences at Roundhouse, Romberg’s Roof Top Bar, and Ms Mary’s Bar and Terrace.
- Previous experience in a busy à la carte restaurant is an advantage
- Strong enthusiasm for hospitality and service
- Consistently high service standards with careful attention to detail
- Ability to read guest needs and respond promptly and professionally
- Valid NSW RSA certificate
- Experience using POS systems
- Confident, upbeat, and naturally energetic approach
- Ability to connect with guests and leave a positive, lasting impression
