Role Overview and Responsibilities

• Manage all activities related to the designated food and beverage outlet, overseeing supervision, planning, control, and coordination.
• Ensure effective collaboration across all departments within Novotel Kolkata to boost productivity, cooperation, and guest satisfaction.
• Supervise the flow of service in the assigned outlet to maintain smooth operations.
• Report any matters that could impact Novotel Kolkata's interests directly to management.
• Support the Director of Food & Beverage in strategizing and implementing operational plans for the outlet.
• Maintain compliance with company and statutory hygiene standards throughout the outlet.
• Ensure all team members are trained adequately on safety protocols.
• Inspire and develop the team to promote teamwork and enable seamless outlet functioning.
• Drive guest satisfaction and organizational profitability by utilizing all available resources efficiently.
• Develop and manage the annual budget for the outlet, providing monthly updates to the Director of F&B.
• Maintain profit margins by controlling costs effectively and overseeing menu costing to prevent overspending.
• Collaborate with the Director of F&B in promoting sales through organizing events and food festivals.
• Enforce stringent quality control, hygiene, health, and safety standards across all outlet areas.
• Manage operations within established budgetary limits and legal requirements.
• Ensure adherence to policies regarding service delivery, safety, security, discipline, and overall compliance.
• Uphold company standards by ensuring the team conforms to uniform and hygiene requirements.
• Consistently maintain high quality in every aspect of work, meeting or exceeding standard expectations.
• Continuously delight guests with innovative and trendsetting products and services.
• Undertake additional duties assigned by management as needed.
