Role Overview
As a Food & Beverage Attendant, you will be responsible for delivering welcoming, efficient, and personalized service across multiple outlets. Your role includes ensuring guest satisfaction, maintaining high operational and food quality standards, and supporting the team and departmental targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide warm, attentive, and tailored service consistent with Holiday Inn and IHG standards.
- Greet guests, accurately take food and drink orders, and ensure timely delivery.
- Demonstrate thorough understanding of menu items, drinks, and promotions to assist guests and promote sales.
- Proactively anticipate guests' needs, quickly respond to requests, and handle feedback professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper presentation of dining, bar, and service areas throughout shifts.
- Ensure adherence to food safety, hygiene, HACCP, and health and safety regulations.
- Handle and store food, beverages, and equipment with care to preserve quality and prevent damage.
- Keep the work environment safe, clean, and organized; promptly report any maintenance or safety issues.
- Support sustainability efforts by reducing waste and using resources responsibly.
Candidate Requirements
- Legal authorization to work in the UAE.
- High school diploma or equivalent with 2 to 4 years of restaurant experience in full-service or similar dining environments; hospitality diploma or degree preferred.
- Certification in alcohol awareness and/or valid food service or health/food handler permits as mandated by local authorities.
- Strong knowledge of ala carte menus, beverage and wine selections, and current food trends.
- Good communication skills in English for effective interaction with guests, management, and colleagues.
- Team player with great attention to detail, strong organization, and time management abilities.
- Capability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Maintain high personal grooming and hygiene standards, including wearing the uniform with pride.
- Willingness to work a rotating six-day schedule including overnight, weekends, and public holidays.
