Yas Plaza Hotels by Aldar Hospitality brings together six international hotels in the center of Yas Island, Abu Dhabi. The destination combines leisure, comfort, and recreation, offering guests a complete Yas Island experience.
Role Overview
The Food & Beverage Attendant is responsible for delivering a smooth and enjoyable dining experience. The position centers on welcoming guests, recording orders, serving food and drinks, and keeping the dining space clean and organized.
What You Will Do
- Welcome guests and create a warm first impression.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate them to the right team members.
- Serve meals and drinks with prompt and attentive service.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the dining area throughout service.
- Support a pleasant guest experience through helpful, courteous interaction.
Candidate Profile
- Previous experience in food and beverage service is required.
- You should be comfortable handling physical tasks such as lifting, pushing, or pulling items up to 50 lbs (23 kg), including bending and kneeling when needed.
- Basic reading, writing, and spoken English skills are necessary.
- The role requires flexibility for night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
- You must meet local rules related to food handling and alcohol service, be above the minimum legal age, and be fluent in the international language.
- Strong interpersonal skills are important, along with a friendly and approachable manner.
- Practical experience with a cash register and order management system is expected.
- Good organization and multitasking ability are needed to perform well in a busy environment.
- A diploma, high school qualification, or certificate is preferred.
