Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage and deliver food and beverage orders efficiently to guests, ensuring exceptional service standards.
- Offer warm, attentive, and friendly service to all patrons to enhance their dining experience.
- Support team members in the preparation and setup of dining areas before service, including the stocking and inspecting of supplies and utensils.
- Respond promptly and helpfully to guest requests; actively promote menu items through suggestive selling and upselling techniques.
- Handle all restaurant reservation enquiries made by phone and email professionally and promptly.
- Undertake necessary administrative tasks within the restaurant to support smooth operation.
- Carry out cashiering responsibilities, including operating the POS system, processing cash and credit payments, and ensuring accuracy of cash drawer reconciliations at shift end.
Qualifications and Requirements
- At minimum, possess a Secondary school education with O Level passes; a Diploma in any discipline is advantageous.
- Have at least one year of experience in a guest service or customer-facing role, preferably within the hospitality sector.
- Hold valid food hygiene and safety certification.
- Be willing and able to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Maintain a neat, professional, and well-groomed appearance appropriate for hospitality service.
