Food and Beverage Duty Manager

Overview

We are looking for a skilled and driven Food and Beverage Duty Manager to join our team at Faithlegg in County Waterford, Ireland. The role focuses on supporting and collaborating with Heads of Departments (HODs) to develop and maximize opportunities across all food and beverage outlets. You will play a key role in motivating, leading, and developing the team while meeting important business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the Food & Beverage team to maintain current offerings and innovate new ideas and promotions aimed at generating additional revenue streams.
• Assist in planning, organizing, managing, and reviewing service delivery and operational systems to provide guests with the highest quality experience.
• Lead a large team energetically and empathetically, demonstrating genuine care for guests.
• Oversee daily operations of food and beverage outlets, ensuring adequate staffing and supervision at all times.
• Support training initiatives to ensure staff meet required standards within set timeframes.
• Help develop and audit standards and operational systems across F&B areas to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Coordinate with each HOD to ensure stocktaking is performed as needed.
• Address guest complaints and feedback professionally and promptly.
• Maintain compliance with HACCP and health and safety regulations.
• Provide leadership and manage all F&B outlets in the absence of the HOD.

Experience and Qualifications

• Energetic, trustworthy, ambitious, hardworking, and results-driven individual.
• Capable of building and sustaining effective, trusting relationships with guests, suppliers, and colleagues.
• Motivates and empowers team members to enhance their performance.
• Minimum of two years supervisory experience in Food & Beverage within the 4-star hospitality sector.
• Hotel and Catering Management qualification is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong leadership abilities to guide and motivate teams toward delivering outstanding guest service.
• Experience in employee training and development.
• Proficient with IT systems necessary for the role.
