Job description
About the Property
Located in Adelaide’s central business district, Peppers Waymouth places guests in the middle of the city’s energy. The hotel features a premium mix of accommodation options, including standard hotel rooms, roomy family suites, and a penthouse. On site, TUTTO Cucina + Bar serves Italian cuisine that combines classic and modern influences, with service available from morning through to night. Guests also have access to an on-site gym, an indoor heated pool, and advanced conferencing facilities, making the property suitable for a broad range of travellers. In your downtime, you can take the tram from Pirie Street to explore nearby restaurants or rooftop bars, or travel a little further to visit the Barossa Valley.
Role Purpose
As a Food & Beverage Attendant, you will be the warm first point of contact for guests, guiding them through memorable dining and beverage experiences. You will use your knowledge to suggest dishes and drinks that stand out, while helping deliver smooth service across events and outlets. Attention to detail, guest focus, and strong teamwork will be important in making each occasion a success.
What You Will Do
- Help create a welcoming, upbeat setting where each guest interaction feels memorable.
- Respond to challenges positively and use practical problem-solving to keep service moving.
- Improve the dining experience by offering tailored food and beverage recommendations in restaurants and at events.
- Use upselling as a way to enhance the guest experience, not just to increase sales.
- Actively build your product knowledge by seeking out relevant information.
- Communicate clearly and confidently with both guests and team members to support smooth coordination.
- Prepare and close service areas carefully, maintaining high standards of presentation and organisation.
Skills and Experience
- Background in hospitality customer service is required.
- Knowledge of food and beverage service standards, including table service, drinks service, event service, and coffee preparation, will be highly valued.
- Ability to work flexibly across varied shifts, including early starts, evenings, weekends, and public holidays, is essential.
- A current RSA or an equivalent licence/qualification valid for the relevant country, state, or territory is required.
- A genuine interest in guest engagement and collaborative teamwork is important.
Benefits
- ALL Heartist Membership with discounts on accommodation and food & beverage worldwide.
- Family and Friends discounts across selected accommodation, services, and events.
- Access to the Accor Live Limitless loyalty program to earn status and reward points on global stays.
- Learning and development support through Accor Academy and Typsy.
- Opportunity to connect with a global network of more than 300,000 Accor professionals.
- Potential career growth across Accor’s worldwide hotel network, with over 400 hotels in the Pacific and more than 5,000 properties across 110 countries.
Company Values
Accor is committed to welcoming people as they are and creating an inclusive workplace where diverse teams can thrive. The company aims to support growth and learning so work can be meaningful, and it encourages every team member to shape their own career journey.
